Immigration police arrested three Russian nationals for allegedly operating an illegal health clinic and pharmacy near the Chonburi Area Revenue Office 3, just off Jomtien Second Road.
Officers from the Chonburi Immigration Department went undercover in late April to purchase 3,000 baht in items from the unnumbered clinic in a two-story operating as the Sea Sun Sand Beauty Salon & Stylist.
Immigration police arrested three Russian nationals for allegedly operating the Sea Sun Sand Beauty Salon & Stylist clinic.
When they returned later with a search warrant, they found the door blocked with a steel barrier and 10 Russian customers inside.
Once gaining entry, the officers found a health clinic and pharmacy on the second floor where drugs were being distributed without a license.
Arrested were Dzhanil Mamedov, 48, Alena Latyashevich, 29, and Angelina Vovk, 22. All refused to speak with police.
They were charged with working without a permit, operating a clinic illegally, importing and selling drugs illegally, and selling counterfeit beauty products.
More than 50 brands of other drugs and products were seized.
Police said the Russian operators were brazen, advertising their illegal business on local Pattaya television.
