Police have arrested four teenagers and are seeking two more people for shooting a young couple after they left an all-night pub in Pattaya.
Nattapong Phon-guen, 19, was shot in the chest, stomach and face, while 17-year-old Nattawan Pathisarn suffered a single 9mm gunshot to the stomach. Both were in fair condition after being hospitalized.
The couple’s friend, 20-year-old Wuttichai Pomsema, said the victims were among a group of seven friends who left around 7 a.m. from the Red & Blue pub on Thepprasit Soi 2. As they drove home, a rival gang of about seven teenagers pulled alongside and opened fire.

Police on Oct. 12 announced the arrest of Thanachart Chaichana, 19, and three 17-year-olds and the seizure of a 9mm handgun, ammunition and several motorbikes. Suspects Peerapol Eeimsiriarirath, 20, and 18-year-old Jukarin Plugklin remain at large.
During a reenactment of the crime, the suspects showed how they got into an argument with the couple behind the Aksorn School. As the victims drove away, the teen gang members followed with Thanachart allegedly firing 10 shots.
All four suspects were charged with attempted murder an Thanachart with possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
Authorities also are threatening to close Red & Blue, which has been cited previously for staying open past legal closing times. The bar’s owners also were charged with serving minors under 20.
