Pattaya police scooped up six minor drug suspects found with fewer than 100 methamphetamine tablets between them.
Police said June 15 that the arrests were significant – even if the amount of drugs seized wasn’t – because all six are connected to the same network. They also had few qualms about ratting out their partners.
Prachak Thongkiew, 47 from Supanburi, and Weerapol Saenharn, 23, were arrested first in a sting operation at the Garden 3 apartment in on Naklua Soi 12. They had between them 33 ya ba tablets, 1.2 grams of crystal meth and a 20-caliber handgun with a single bullet.
Police didn’t need to twist their arms too hard for them to squeal on Thongchai Sae-Ueng, 47, and Nithiya Muenster, 49, who were nabbed in a sting with 43 ya ba pills and two grams of crystal meth.
They quickly coughed up the names of Sitichoke Boopthay, 23, and Piyaraj Seekena, 31, who were captured with 2.1 grams of ya ice.
