To celebrate her HM Queen Sirikit’s Birthday on the 12th of August, a Green Pattaya ‘surprise’ cleaning took place on Mother’s Day outside Royal Cliff Garden condominium, Pattaya, and Sheraton Pattaya Resort.
Since a charity concert was to be held at the Royal Cliff that night, the Green Pattaya team thought the area should look nice when all the dignitaries would arrive.
A handful of people collected and cleared a total of 25 garbage bags, a number of dead trees and branches and other items in just two hours. This prevented the garbage from being carried down the storm drain into the sea at Bali Hai Beach.
