A paramedic treats David Andrew Rogers for his injured wrist as he sits in pain beside his wrecked Nissan Navara after it hit the 18-wheeler and cartwheeled.

An American man suffered minor injuries when his pickup truck rear-ended a big rig in Pattaya.

David Andrew Rogers, 68, flipped his Nissan Navara but walked away relatively unscathed from the March 7 accident on Sukhumvit Road in front of Srisuvit School, north of Rong Po market. He suffered only a broken wrist and after being convinced by his girlfriend, who arrived at the scene of the wreck, agreed to be taken to Banglamung Hospital for treatment.

Kanit Usongtham, 54, was driving the 18-wheeler to Laem Chabang Port and only heard the crash before seeing the pickup cartwheel.
