A South Pattaya after-hours nightclub faces a five-year closure after underage and drug-using customers were caught dancing until 5 a.m.
Police and soldiers raided the Idol Club on Soi Yensabai Nov. 29, finding 150 customers still in the bar just before dawn.
Drug tests found a dozen people using methamphetamines while identification card checks found one minor and 20 with no cards at all.
The drug users were arrested, and the club will be shut down for operating far after legal closing times, serving minors and not registering staff members.
