Police arrested an Australian man for allegedly stealing a purse from a woman on Walking Street.
Oliver Niyonsaba, 21, was charged for “stealing at night” after being caught red-handed with the black purse containing two necklaces and a pair of sunglasses belonging to Tanyalak Nasuho, 40.
The Chaiyaphum native told police she was in the Miami Club and left her handbag on a table while she went to the restroom. She returned to find it missing and people at a neighboring table told her a foreign man took it the restroom.
Police nabbed him as he exited the toilet, the purse hidden in his belongings.
