Selected Pattaya baht buses and taxis offered free rides to pay tribute to the memory of HM the late King.
Tawat Puekboonak, chairman of the Pattaya Baht Bus Cooperative, kicked off the one-day campaign at the intersection of South and Second roads Oct. 24. Free rides were offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A total of 160 vehicles took part in the “Do Good for Dad” project, taking passengers to eight destinations including Bali Hai Pier, Sukhumvit Road, Central Road and the North Pattaya bus station.
