Banglamung officials arrested two Bangkok men accused of dealing drugs in Pattaya.

District Chief Naris Niramaiwong led officers in a Sept. 20 sting operation to capture Manop Pandee, 38, and a bodyguard identified only as Chaipat.

Officers seized 91 methamphetamine tablets and 105 grams of crystal meth in the operation outside Sirisa 12 village on Sukhumvit Road at North Road.

Authorities earlier had arrested a drug user who ratted out Manop as his dealer and helped police arrange a buy. The two were arrested after they stepped off a minivan from Bangkok.

Manop previously served 11 years in prison for drug dealing and Chaipat also has drug arrests, officials said.
