Shoppers at Central Festival Pattaya Beach were given free basic health checks and learned about staying “fit and firm” at a health fair sponsored by Bangkok Hospital Pattaya and the city.
The “Feeling Good on Tour” fair saw hospital doctors and health consultants offer checks for heart and eye diseases, vital statistics checkups and ultrasound therapy that purportedly soothes aches and pains. Seminars, such as those on the benefits of vegetables and the origin of diseases, also drew the interest of mall shoppers.

Hospital officials said the “Feeling Good on Tour” exhibit was aimed at improving the quality of life for Pattaya visitors and residents, as well as keeping them healthy.
