Forget drug dealers, gold thieves and murderers, Banglamung Police Station officers in Takientia spent their Saturday night arresting four card players for gambling with 31 baht.
Three women and a man between 39 and 59 were arrested near the Railway Road in Rong Poh around 8:30 p.m. April 9. Enough money to buy plate of noodles and a pack of old cards were collected.
The four complained they were just minding their own business and having fun. No word on how impressed – or not – senior Banglamung officers were with the “big bust.”
