Bangsaen’s beachfront will become a racetrack when 300 drivers from around the world arrive for the Toyota Bangsaen Speed Festival Feb. 1-5.
The event, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Sports Authority of Thailand, Royal Automobile Association of Thailand and local governments will see Bangsaen’s First and Second roads closed to traffic and opened to race cars and a parade.
The Toyota Bangsaen Speed Festival is scheduled for Feb. 1-5.
The event will a Toyota Motorsport race for amateurs wanting to enter professional racing. A parade with floats from Japan and Europe will roll down the beach. The Saensuk district government will open a products market at Laem Thien, offering souvenirs and discounts on auto accessories.
