Showing how little heed Pattaya drivers pay traffic signs, motorists are ignoring warnings not to drive cars and motorbikes on the damaged Bali Hai pier.
Things were business as usual the morning of Oct. 2 with plenty of vehicles on the worn and torn bridge and no police were seen to be doing anything to enforce the ban.
Vehicles are banned on the bridge from 5-10 a.m.
Authorities and pier users are afraid the bridge will be further damaged by traffic and suggest city hall simply block access completely.
