Bangkok Hospital Pattaya gave raincoats to officers at Banglamung Police Station for the rainy season.
Business development director Jutaporn Huyakorn presented the 10,000 coats worth 3,000 baht to Pol. Lt. Col. Thanasit Kanlum Aug. 29.
The jackets, funded in part by the Thai Health Insurance Office, are intended for use by traffic police, who have to be out in awful weather to direct traffic at busy intersections, near schools and in rain-flooded areas.
