Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and the Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital kicked off their ninth year of blood drives.
The Thai Red Cross Society repeatedly runs blood drives to refill its reserves for emergencies and surgeries.
The New Blood Generation for this World campaign started Sept. 21 also includes social activities such as cleaning temples, vaccinating monks and other charity efforts.
The next blood-collection event will be held Dec. 4.
