The body of a man believed to have fallen from a fishing boat was pulled from the sea in Najomtien.
The unidentified victim found about 200 meters off Dongtan beach at the end of a cold-storage jetty May 8 was wearing only black underwear and had no obvious signs of trauma, other than being dead.
His body was sent for a forensic examination at Sattahip Km. 10 Hospital.
Police said there were no reports of a missing person, so it’s presumed he was a crewman on a fishing boat. He had been dead about four hours when found.
Police planned to check with local fishing cooperatives.
