A Khon Kaen man suffered minor injuries after allegedly being stabbed by his former boyfriend on a bus in Pattaya.
Sutthipong Toonrath, 21, suffered a cut to the hand following the midnight Dec. 1 incident at the Chan Tour terminal in central Pattaya. Sawang Boriboon Foundation medics rendered first aid and police collected a kitchen knife.
Sutthipong said he was attacked by his 21-year-old former lover, identified only as Phubet, who was jealous and angry he was breaking up and returning home.

The injured man said they became acquainted via an online chat service and decided to move in together. Sutthipong was unemployed and Phubet allegedly locked him in his apartment while he was away working in an entertainment venue due to being very jealous.
They often argued and Phubet beat him, Sutthipong told police.
Finally, Sutthipong decided to leave his lover and locked him in the apartment while he was in the shower. But Phubet tracked him down to the bus station where they again got into an argument, which ended with the stabbing.
Sutthipong told police he didn’t want to press charges so he could just go home.
