A British man was punched in the face at a Pattaya beer bar allegedly for doing nothing more than asking that music be turned up.
Nicholas Pautal, 55, was treated for a bloodied head at the Mister Beer Bar on Beach Road before being transported to the hospital Nov. 23.
The Brit’s girlfriend, Pimprapa Bantaotuek, 36, said they were having fun over drinks when Pautal asked the bar owner to turn up the volume. The request was denied and an argument ensued.
The undefined bar owner said the music was already loud enough and he lost his temper during the argument.
