One man died and a woman was hurt when a speeding car allegedly driven by a British man struck the Russian couple in front of the Ambassador City Hotel in Jomtien Beach.
Oleg Yuhikoy, 37, was pronounced dead at the Sukhumvit Road accident scene Dec. 20. Svetlana Ivanova, 31, was transported to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya with serious injuries.
One man died and a woman was hurt when they were hit by this vehicle whilst trying to cross the road.
Nearby was a white Toyota Fortuner and alleged driver Michael Ashbrooke, 42. He denied being the driver behind the wheel, but was identified by witnesses as the person driving the SUV.
Witnesses said the accident occurred when the Russian couple was crossing the road and a speeding Ashbrooke hit them.
