
PATTAYA, Thailand – The administration of Nong Pla Lai Municipality, East Pattaya, warmly welcomed a delegation from Wiang Municipality, Chiang Rai, following their study visit to the local Early Childhood Development Center, which has been recognized as a model institution for outstanding management.
Led by Phinyo Homklan, Mayor of Nong Pla Lai Municipality, the reception included municipal executives, council members, advisors, and heads of government departments. The visiting delegation was headed by Kampang Chantakul, Deputy Mayor of Wiang Municipality, who expressed interest in learning from the exemplary management and operational strategies of the center.
Mayor Phinyo emphasized the crucial role of early childhood development, stating that early years are the foundation of life and have the most rapid growth in all aspects. “Young children who receive appropriate care according to their developmental stages will grow into quality individuals who contribute to the nation’s future,” he remarked.
He further highlighted that investing in early childhood development yields long-term societal benefits. “It is a worthwhile investment that impacts the quality and efficiency of people throughout their lives. Healthy, well-educated, and capable individuals become productive members of society,” he said.
The visit aimed to enable Wiang Municipality to adopt best practices in developing their own early childhood education facilities. The knowledge gained from the study tour will be applied to enhance educational management in Wiang Subdistrict, ensuring young children receive comprehensive and high-quality developmental support.
