About 30 employees of a northeast Thailand sub-district became the latest in a seemingly unending parade of upcountry administrators visiting Pattaya as part of a junket to the Eastern Seaboard to improve their administrative skills.
City Councilman Rattanachai Sutidechanai welcomed Jeerasak Hengsawat, president of the Puttaisong Sub-district in Buriram, Feb. 27.

Rattanachai briefed the public servants on the growth of Pattaya and introduced important destinations and development methods behind becoming a tourism city.
Puttaisong officials said the trip was organized to increase worker efficiency as human personnel are the most-important resource in developing a city. Pattaya, they said, was interesting due to its status as one of the most important tourism destinations in Thailand.
Sub-district administrator Nisanat Jan-apat said she will implement the knowledge she obtained from Pattaya in her daily work.
