Grainy CCTV footage catches images of two young Thai men stealing a thin gold chain from a disabled woman in central Pattaya.
Stopped near the Redemptorist School for People with Disabilities, two men in their 20s rode alongside on a motorbike and grabbed the Khon Kaen native’s chain, causing her to nearly fall out of her chair.
“I am shocked and saddened by such an incident as the necklace took me many months to purchase even though it’s not worth much,” she said.
Police said they are using the CCTV image to track down the thief.
