The Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya lit is giant Christmas tree that will help raise money for charity.

Pattaya Deputy Mayor Poramet Ngampichet and General Manager Denis Thouvard flipped the switch to illuminate the tree at the Wong Amat resort Dec. 14.

Children from the Father Ray Foundation sang Christmas carols while dancer Nareethip put on a holiday ballet show. Jazz Vizard entertained with a short concert.

The Centara Grand Mirage is selling holiday cards and ornaments to place on the tree through Jan. 6, with all proceeds going to the Father Ray Foundation. Funds for the charity also will be raised through cookie decorating, photos with Santa Clause and the hotel’s mascot C-Dee.
