Obsolete electricity poles will be removed in central Pattaya starting Sept. 1 with 90 minutes of traffic closures.
The Provincial Electricity Authority will remove 28 poles ranging in size from nine to 14 meters tall on Central Road on either side of Soi Arunothai (inbound) starting at 8:30 a.m. Traffic will be closed until 10 a.m.
