Khet Udomsak leaders joined in a third community-building workshop for the year, this time focusing on ceremonial cloth manufacturing to help residents earn extra money.
Khet Udomsak Mayor Pairoj Malakul Na Ayutthaya presided over the June 8 seminar attended by administrators, municipal council members, and representatives from the Sattahip sub-district’s 13 communities.
A lecturer from Rayong Polytechnic College spoke on skills that can be developed to sew decorations used in formal ceremonies.
Pairoj said the skills can be passed on to local residents to help them earn extra money at home, in turn bringing more harmony, unity and strength of the community.
