An elderly Chinese tourist died of an apparent heart attack while swimming off Pattaya Beach.
Medics found Zhu Fuhe, 68, not breathing in the sand Dec. 22. CPR was administered, but he died en route to Pattaya Memorial Hospital.
Witnesses said Zhu was in Pattaya with a large tour group and went for a swim before 6 p.m. But he soon disappeared and friends found him motionless in the water.
It was believed he suffered a heart attack while swimming.
