Chonburi illustrated the life and works of HRH Princess Chulabhorn to celebrate her 61st birthday.

Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Culture Chai Nakronchai opened the July 9 exhibition at the provincial hall.

The exhibit contained her biography, works, and examples of her kindness toward Thai people, as well as exhibitions of arts and culture, and sales of cultural products by community networks adhering to the HM the late King Rama IX’s “sufficiency economy” philosophy.

Chai said the princess has worked to reinforce scientific knowledge and environmental conservation and to raise the skill level of Thai workers.

Apart from being accepted internationally for her abilities in science, she has applied these to science and technology for the country’s development of education, health and sanitation.

Princess Chulabhorn was born July 4, 1957, the youngest daughter of HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. Her full Thai title is Somdet Phrachao Luk Thoe Chaofa Chulabhorn Valayalaksana Agrarajakumari.
