Chonburi’s governor has visited cyclists injured in the province’s recent Ai Un Rak royal bike event.
Pakarathorn Thienchai and his wife Supaporn, head of the Chonburi Red Cross, arrived at Eakachon 2 Hospital Dec. 10 and gave flower baskets to the two unidentified cyclists, who crashed during the 29-kilometer ride from the provincial hall to Bangsaen Beach and back Dec. 9.
The couple gave them flowers and Pakarathorn assured the pair that any medical expenses exceeding insurance provided by the bike race would be covered by the governor’s office.
