The Chonburi Press Association acknowledged media supporters during 2015 at its annual year-end party.
Association President Padungsak Thanthrawornsin hosted the Dec. 21 party at Chonburi provincial hall where Chonburi Deputy Gov. Phawat Lertmukhda handed out certificates of recognition to journalists, local officials and organizations.
A lucky draw saw journalists win more than 200 prizes, including TVs, kettles, fans and more.
Certificates of appreciation were given out to groups supporting the media, including the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department, RPV Ltd. and the Amata Co.

Certificates for outstanding personnel went to Kithisak Tongyoo, Pitak Sakulsrongdej, Phut Sritham from the Chonburi Press Association, Silapachai Sampanporn, director of Chonburi Kindergarten School, and Pol. Col. Pisit Proeyrungroj, deputy chief of Chonburi Police.
Entertainment included stage performances from local singers and dancers.
