The Chonburi government has opened a one-stop service center at the Amata Industrial Estate.
Gov. Khomsan Ekachai cut the ribbon on the Monday-Saturday service center April 4. The center will provide identification cards and home registrations and is expected to serve about 500,000 people a year.
Khomsan said the center was located in the factory district, as about 100,000 people are employed there. It will provide more convenience to workers while reducing lines at Chonburi administrative offices.
Other agencies staffing the office include the Ministry of Labor, Chonburi Immigration, the Chonburi Land Transport Office, and Klo Tam Rhu municipality.
The office will operate 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
