Chonburi’s provincial police chief reached out to Pattaya-area media organizations to forge a better working relationship and publicize law enforcement’s efforts to clean up the city.

He chatted with reporters as a start toward reinforcing a good relationship between police and reporters while explaining the safety measures being pursued to build a good reputation among tourists.
Nitipong said working with Pattaya reporters is a good thing as the cooperation in publishing the facts will reinforce the good working relationship between Pattaya reporters and police.
“Pattaya attracts a huge number of foreign tourists. Hence the police must be very strict on protecting the safety of life and property as well as reducing the crime rate as much as possible while wiping out high-risk areas for drug abuse.”
