Chonburi welcomed seven new department heads as part of the government’s annual bureaucratic reshuffle.
New chiefs of the land office, farm cooperatives, primary education, fisheries and vocational training took office Dec. 27.
Kithipong Polprayul, former head of the Land Office in Phetchaburi, took over Chonburi’s land department, replacing Thanit Sukamalee, who was transferred to Phanat Nikhom District.
Phuket Cooperatives head Praphuet Phokha how heads the same department in Chonburi, replacing Pratheep Nuworana, who retired.
Them Sua-uam, former deputy director of the Office of Chonburi Primary Education Area 2, was promoted to director of Primary Education Area 1, replacing Wasan Naowniew, who also retired.
Eakawat Ussaneepan, former deputy director of the Office of Chonburi Primary Education Area 3, was promoted to director of Area 2, replacing Thanin Choljit, who took a job as an education officer in the main education office.
Saithong Jitsawang, former director of the Sports Office of Thailand Chantaburi, swapped jobs with Thongjing Siripaiboon, who headed the Chonburi sports office.
Jiraporn Poonyalit, former director of the treasury management office in the Skill Development Department, was promoted to head the entire department, replacing Thawat Benjatikul, who promoted to deputy director-general.
Chaowalit Lampai, former deputy director of the Vocational College of Roi Et, took over the same role at the Technical College of Bangsaen, replacing Suwanna Pongsrisupakorn, who was transferred to Intrachai Technical College in Bangkok.
Somkiet Kanchanakarn, former head of the Fisheries Department in Si Saket, took over the same role in Chonburi, replacing Bancha Sukaew, who has become director of the Coastal Aquaculture Research and Development Office in the Department of Fisheries.
