Pattaya’s permanent secretary handed over more of the city’s 159.4 million baht budget to upgrade underground pipelines in hopes of resolving long-running water-distribution problems.

Project Assistant Manager Paphawin Raksat said work is ongoing on Chaiyapruek Road, Sukhumvit Road, and Jomtien Beachside Road to install pipes. About 80 percent of the sidewalks have been repaired, with the rest of the work expected to conclude this month.
