A Burapha University student filed criminal charges against her transvestite cousin for allegedly using her photo and personal details to attract men on Facebook.
Tourism Management student Chothip Tomanit, 20, filed the complaint with Banglamung Police Nov. 8, claiming her cousin, identified only as “Ae,” had used her photo, educational background and other details without permission on a fake Facebook profile.

She said the ladyboy’s online behavior, which included soliciting men for telephone numbers, was degrading and damaged her reputation.
Police planned to transfer the matter to cyber police in the Interior Ministry as well as bring the cross-dressing imposter in for questioning.
