About 100 community volunteers were briefed on traffic rules and the power of traffic cops.
Banglamung District Chief Naris Niramaiwong and Nongprue Mayor Mai Chaiyanit welcomed superintendents of the Pattaya, Banglamung and Nongprue police stations, as well as traffic police officers, to the training session at the district office.
Volunteers were educated on traffic regulations and policies, some of which were demonstrated by traffic cops.
The volunteers also were educated on what authority traffic police have and don’t have.
