Sawang Rojana Thammasathan Foundation medics arrived at the construction workers camp on Soi Wat Thepprasarttaotan in Sattahip to find Prapaijit Intarabuth, 35, had already given birth to a baby girl in a restroom. The Udon Thani native was bloody and exhausted and the baby’s umbilical cord was still attached, but both mother and child appeared healthy.

Paramedics transferred both to Queen Sirikit Naval Medical Center for a full checkup.

A coworker told authorities that he discovered the mother-in-distress while taking a bathroom break and called paramedics.
