An East Pattaya shopper learned not to leave anything in her motorbike after a couple stole food from the front basket while she was inside a convenience store.
The owner of a mini-mart on Soi Nernplabwan showed the media security camera footage of the parking lot theft by an unidentified couple Feb. 9.
The video showed the couple on a Yamaha Fino drive up to the front of the store and park. The female passenger then got off and poached several items from the basket of another parked motorbike before they drove away.
The victim told the shopkeeper she had purchased some supplies on Central Road to cook for her son’s birthday, but needed to stop at the mini-mart for a few extra items.
She didn’t realize until she got home that some beef, vegetable oil, spaghetti and other seasonings were stolen while she was inside.
