PATTAYA – The Child Protection and Development Center cut the ribbon on two new dormitories to ease crowding at the Pattaya shelter.

Human Help Network Thailand Director Ratchada Chomjinda welcomed sponsors and guests to the Dec. 5 opening.

The two new homes, named for benefactor Vincent P. Fusco, will give the children space to live and study. Sponsor David Ramsy and members of local Rotary Clubs also were on hand to open the new facilities.

The children prepared a welcoming performance, doing traditional Thai and Hawaiian hula dances and singing.
