A deaf man was arrested for allegedly stealing a motorbike from Bali Hai Pier.
Sarawuth Thongpaiboon, 28, was brought to a police news conference Oct. 15 where he was pointed out by victim, Tanit Pornsit, 30.
Tanit said that on Oct. 11 he parked his black-gray Yamaha Fino at the South Pattaya pier and left the key in the bike by accident. When he returned, the bike was gone.
Tanit Pornsit points to Sarawuth Thongpaiboon saying, that’s my motorbike and that’s the man who stole it.
CCTV footage showed a man matching Sarawuth’s description taking the bike and driving with a woman, presumed to be his girlfriend, to the Chuan Chen apartments in Sriracha.
He was arrested there but the woman’s whereabouts remained unknown.
