The son of a provincial deputy police chief was among one of 15 people arrested at a drug party in Najomtien.

Naris Pakkathanitsak, 29, whose father is the deputy police chief in Chaiyaphum, was taken into custody in the March 24 raid at the Hamilton Hotel.

Police accused Klisada Sroinmongkol, 21, of organizing the party and providing the narcotics.

At a March 26 arraignment, 7 men and 5 women were charged for possession of drugs. Two others had drugs in their system, while the last was clean.

The offenders were granted bail. Their sentencing date has not been confirmed.
