Pattaya donated more than 50,000 baht in equipment to assist disabled residents.
Welfare and Social Security Department Director Teeraporn Srijan handed out the mobility aids to 16 residents Aug. 30.
Among the gear presented were 12 wheelchairs worth 47,400 baht, five three-leg walking canes worth 2,900 baht and a four-legged walker worth 550 baht.
The disabled residents were all happy, knowing that the equipment can make their lives easier and Pattaya will continue to organize budgets for similar causes.
