‘Doctor at Home’ visits Soi Khopai

Doctors and city officials made house calls in the Soi Khopai Community as Pattaya continued its “Doctor at Home” program.

Community President Wirat Joyjinda welcomed city council members Praiwan Arromchuen and Choosak Sriwatjanapong; mayoral advisor Prasert Saengkaw, and doctors from Pattaya Hospital as they arrived to provide checkups for local residents Feb. 12.

Pattaya established the Doctor at Home project to reach out and provide proactive medical services to the community.

Services cover health checks, education on chronic diseases, the Health Security Fund, food and beverage safety, health products, herbs and more. Events also offer free therapeutic massages, informational CDs on diseases, abate sand granules to diminish mosquitoes, rat poison, vermicides, condoms, and free veterinary services for cats and dogs.

The project is carried out in accordance with the public health and environmental plans aiming to promote health for Pattaya residents so access to medical services is available to all.
