Dozens of people were arrested and more than 100 bags of drugs seized when authorities raided Sam Sing Tomboy and Model Club on Soi Buakhao.

Banglamung District Chief led 50 police officers and soldiers to the popular Thai disco around 3 a.m. July 29. About 300 people were still inside.

Identification card checks found 14 patrons were under age and drug tests performed on everyone found 31 people under the influence. All were taken into custody.

Club employees Noppon Pannimit, 37; Jakkrit Pawong, 28; and Anucha Martsakda, 33, were arrested for operating a club without a license and other offenses. Security guard Anusorn Atthasan, 19, was arrested for possession of a walkie-talkie and handcuffs.
