A drunk Bangkok man mistook an elderly woman’s Bang Saray home for his hotel and passed out on her porch.
Siriporn Palakawong Na Ayutthaya, 85, called police when she opened the door to her Sattahip District house to find a shirtless Wiwat Waree, 36, sleeping out front.
The gate to the yard was still locked, so he apparently climbed the fence.
Police roused the drunken man and eventually got the story that he had rented a hotel room nearby. He went out to celebrate some event, got drunk and walked back to his hotel.
But he thought he lost his key to the hotel and so he climbed the fence and fell asleep on what he thought was his patio.
Siriporn declined to press charges.
