A Sattahip woman was killed when she was hit by a drunk driver in Sattahip.
Flower vendor Prajane Sirisuk, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene of the April 21 accident on Sukhumvit Road at the Ruan Yung Thong curve.
Prajane suffered a fractured skull when she was hit by a Ford Ranger pickup driven by Pramin Posalaks, 51, who tested over the legal limit for alcohol. There was an open bottle of liquor found in his truck.
The victim’s husband, Chao Sirisuk, 72, said Prajane was just getting off a baht bus when Pramin came barreling down the street at approximately 120 kilometers per hour. He tried to flee the scene, but was tackled by traffic volunteer Khamron Pithisutorn.
