A Russian man was robbed of about 100,000 baht in electronics and apparel after taking a Walking Street prostitute back to his condo and getting drunk.
Identified only as Evgeni, the 28-year-old Russian told police Dec. 30 he had picked up the woman – about 30 years old and standing 165 cm. tall – on the nightlife strip, then brought her back to his apartment, where he proceeded to get drunk and pass out.
He woke up around 6 a.m. to find his 10,000-baht necklace, computer, Apple iPad, Nikon camera, mobile phone, cash and winter coat missing.
Security camera footage obtained from the condo showed the woman – who entered the residence in shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt – leaving while wearing the Russian’s big winter coat and hat and carrying a bag of his possessions.
Condo security made no effort to stop her as she jumped on the back of a motorbike and rode away.
