A Nan Province man was killed while driving his motorcycle against traffic on Highway 36 in Pong.
Sittichai Suthiket, 27, was hit head on by a Chevrolet pickup truck before the Khao Maikaew Bridge after midnight Dec. 15. Police said the corpse reeked of alcohol.
The unidentified truck driver from Rayong said he was coming around a curve when suddenly the motorbike appeared directly in front of him. There was no time to stop.
