Nongprue municipality delivered a hospital bed to an 80-year-old resident who cannot care for herself.
Nongprue Deputy Mayor Wanchai Sanngam and subdistrict council members delivered the bed to 80-year-old Lamai Srichumchan Sept. 19 at Rawiporn Village.
Lamai’s niece and caregiver, Hongsaban Srichumchan, said her aunt suffers from cerebrovascular disease and is bedridden. She received the bed on behalf of her aunt thanking the officials for their support of older people.
Wanchai said the bed is simply a loan and, when it is no longer needed, will be given to another infirm resident.
The deputy mayor also gave the family a bag of food and supplies.
