Pattaya workers were called out to repair non-working streetlights around Pattaya Memorial Hospital in Central Pattaya.
Engineer Manop Aumhae led the Public Utilities Office workers to Soi Arunothai and Second Road near the hospital to shed some light on why the streets were dark.
On Soi Arunothai, workers found that while the bulbs were fine, wires leading to them were frayed. They were replaced.
Moving on the hospital area, internal connections inside the poles had broken. With the turn of a few screws, the workers let there be light.
Manop pointed out the obvious benefit of street lighting, noting the office responds to any calls for repairs. Those seeking more illumination can call 1337.
Workers cause slight delays in traffic during an already busy week in order to fix street lights on Pattaya 2nd Road.
