A disgraced Rayong police officer and his alleged Bangkok accomplice were arrested for dealing drugs in Pattaya.
Vichai Kradkrayang, 24, was nabbed at the Chomdaow Resort in Nongprue with 390 methamphetamine tablets and four grams of crystal meth. Under interrogation, he gave up partner Sutisak Trakarnchan, 24, who was apprehended in Bangkok with 90 grams of ya ice.
Pattaya police said at a May 18 news conference that Vichai was a police officer in Rayong, but was tossed off the force after being charged with bribery.
He then went into the drug business full-time and emerged as a big player in that province, slinging speed there and in Pattaya, police alleged.
